Manchester Building Society Changes to Board Membership
Manchester Building Society Group ("the Society") today announces changes to its Board of Directors.
Joe Smith, a Non-Executive Director, who joined the Board of the Society in 2006 will step down at the Society's AGM following 9 years of service.
Chris Gee, Finance Director of the Society, will also be stepping down from the Board on 31 March 2015. Mr Gee has been Finance Director since 2005 and will take up a new non-Board role of Head of Corporate Development and Secretarial Services.
Paul Gittins, formerly Finance Director of Skipton Financial Services Limited, will take on the role of Interim Finance Director, effective as of 1 April 2015, pending a permanent appointment.
The Society's AGM will be held in Manchester's Central Library at 11:00am on 29 April 2015.
David Harding, Chairman of the Society, said:
"I would like to thank Joe for his years of service and for the wise counsel he has provided to the Board. I wish him all best for the future. I am pleased that Chris has chosen to take up a new role in Corporate Development. I look forward to continuing to work with him and I also welcome Paul to his role of Interim Finance Director."
