The month was characterised byvolatile markets as currency, equity, energy, metals and bond sectors becamesusceptible to fluctuating price trends, implying mixed investor sentimentacross the board. Profits were secured in the event driven style as companyevents proved beneficial. In addition, distressed models were able to make gainsfrom volatility in the auto sector while one manager capitalized on theunderperformance of high yield securities.
