Delivery Club Hits a New Record of Daily Orders
13th March 2017. Mail.Ru Group Limited (LSE: MAIL, hereinafter referred as "the Company" or "the Group"), one of the largest companies in the Russian-speaking Internet market, today announces that on March 8, 2017, Delivery Club saw a new record of just below 50 thousand successful daily orders placed by users.
This year, on International Women's Day the food delivery service Delivery Club saw a record activity and compared to March 8, 2016 the number of orders doubled.
The most expensive orders placed through Delivery Club were made in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Saint Petersburg and Novosibirsk. The largest average spend was registered in Kursk, Moscow, Surgut, Khabarovsk and Tver.
Delivery Club remains the number one food delivery marketplace in Russia. It was launched in September 2009 and was acquired by Mail.ru in November 2016. The platform now has over 5,000 connected restaurants in more than 90 cities.
