Maintel Holdings plc (the "Company") Cancellation of Treasury Shares The Company announces that on 20 October 2005 it cancelled 420,000 OrdinaryShares of 1p each, held previously as treasury shares. Following the cancellation of such treasury shares, the Company now holds noOrdinary Shares in treasury and the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is13,096,800 Ordinary Shares.
