In conformity with Rule 5.6.1 of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, we notify the market that following the allotment of 7,252,656 shares on 7 February 2017 in respect of the Scrip Dividend Alternative for the final dividend for the year ended 24 September 2016, Mitchells & Butlers plc's capital consists of 420,923,271 ordinary shares of 8 13/24p each. No shares are held in Treasury.
The total number of voting rights in Mitchells & Butlers plc is 420,923,271. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Mitchells & Butlers plc under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
