LXB Retail Properties Plc

Significant shareholder notification

LXB Retail Properties Plc (the "Company") received notification from Lloyds Banking Group plc on 26 October 2009 that its interest in the Company is 3,500,000 ordinary no par value shares, which represents 3.182% of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company also received notifications on 26 October 2009 from BlackRock, Inc. of its interest in 11,000,000 ordinary no par value shares representing 10% of the Company's issued share capital. Of this, 9,250,000 ordinary no par value shares representing 8.41% of the Company's issued share capital, are held in BlackRock UK Absolute Alpha Fund.
