Board Changes
LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF" or the "Company"), the leading smart homes solutions provider, announces the following board changes.
Andrew Pearson has stepped down from the role of Chief Executive and has left the Company. He is being replaced as Chief Executive by Jason Elliott who is expected to join the Company no later than mid-September 2018. In the interim, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Edwards, will be acting Chief Executive with immediate effect.
Jason Elliott is currently Chief Sales Officer for Onzo Ltd, which provides energy data analytics to major utilities, and through which he has gained first-hand experience of the smart home market. He was previously Divisional Managing Director of SafetyBank, the safety management software company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Olive Communications Solutions Limited. Prior to that, he held a number of senior sales roles at Azzurri Communications Limited, the cloud hosting and data management provider, now part of Maintel Holdings plc. He has a strong technical grounding, from a seven-year term at the start of his career, serving as an engineer in the Royal Navy Submarine Service.
Commenting on the board changes, Barry Gamble, Chairman, said:

"Kevin Edwards has a good commercial understanding of the business and his appointment as acting CEO will ensure strong interim leadership in the period before Jason assumes his new role."
There is no information to disclose in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in relation to the appointment of Jason Gary Elliott, aged 48.
