LOW & BONAR PLC ADDITIONAL LISTING
A block listing application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 10 million ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The Ordinary Shares, if issued, will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares of the company.
The block listing consists of:
5,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p each fully paid up pursuant to the Low & Bonar 2003 Long-term Incentive Plan
3,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p each fully paid up pursuant to the Low & Bonar International Sharesave Scheme
2,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p each fully paid up pursuant to the Low & Bonar 1997 Sharesave Scheme
This application relates partly to Ordinary Shares issuable in the future upon the exercise of options or awards previously granted under these schemes and partly in respect of awards which may be made in the future. No Ordinary Shares are being issued and no awards are being made under the schemes in connection with this announcement.
