MATERIAL INFORMATION
In accordance with Section 15D of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 and Clause (xx) of the Code of Corporate Governance 2012; we hereby would like to convey the following information:
"Construction and installation work for Brownfield Expansion for the additional Line of 1.30 million tons per annum at Karachi Plant has been successfully completed as per the given Project completion timelines. The new line was made operational with commencement of Clinker production on December 12, 2017. With the addition of this New Line in Karachi for 1.30 million tons and certain efficiency improvements brought about recently in the other 2 production lines in the North Plant for another 0.30 million tons the total production capacity of the Company has now increased from previous 7.75 million tons to 9.35 million tons per annum".
A disclosure form as required under S.R.O. 143(1)/2012 read with Section 15D of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 is enclosed herewith.
