PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 3Q 2018
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the third quarter of 2018 as follows.
In the third quarter of 2018, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 15,424.8 billion (as compared to KRW 15,019.4 billion in 2018.2Q and KRW 15,224.1 billion in 2017.3Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.7% (QoQ 2.7%) and a year-on-year increase of 1.3% (YoY 1.3%).
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 745.5 billion (as compared to KRW 771.0 billion in 2018.2Q and KRW 516.1 billion in 2017.3Q), representing quarter-on-quarter decrease of 3.3% (QoQ -3.3%) and a year-on-year increase of 44.4% (YoY 44.4%).
