Leeds Group PLC31 January 2008 Issued on behalf of Leeds Group plc Date: Thursday, 31 January 2008 IMMEDIATE RELEASE Leeds Group plc Annual General Meeting At today's Annual General Meeting, Ewen Wigley, Non-Executive Chairman, toldshareholders: "In our preliminary results announcement made on 19 December 2007, we statedthat Hemmers-Itex continues to perform in line with the expectations of both itsmanagement and the Board. This remains the case. As we highlighted in the Report & Accounts issued to shareholders earlier thismonth, the demise last year of a major competitor has presented Hemmers-Itexwith an opportunity to expand its business. As part of this anticipated growth,Hemmers-Itex is increasing the size of its premises in Nordhorn with theconstruction of further warehousing and offices. This development, which isunderway, is currently running to schedule and budget. The Board continues to look for acquisitions or investments that will strengthenthe Group.
