Director appointment

Leed, the natural resource focused investment company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jinesh Patel, as an independent Director.

Jinesh Patel, aged 36, brings considerable investment management and corporate finance experience to the Company. In his current role at Presidio Capital, a Singapore-based private investment group, Jinesh focusses on special situations in the sectors of mining, oil & gas and healthcare.

Prior to this, Jinesh managed an alternative investment fund for Coupland Cardiff Asset Management, focussed on the Asia Pacific event-driven space. Before embarking on portfolio management, Jinesh worked within the investment banking divisions of UBS Investment Bank (Hong Kong), Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong) and ABN AMRO Hoare Govett (Tokyo).

There is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Redmond, Chairman said "Jinesh brings a range of investment banking skills to the Company. His energy, enthusiasm and experience, particularly in Asian markets, will significantly enhance our Board. We very much look forward to working with him."
