Appointment to London Capital Group Plc Board

London Capital Group is pleased to announce the appointment of William (Bill) Newton to the Board of London Capital Group Holdings Plc and LCG Ltd as Chief Information Officer with effect from 18th April.

Bill will be responsible for LCG's IT strategy and he will manage and develop IT and trading technology services and product delivery for the entire Group.

Bill has extensive operational experience within financial trading companies having worked in the industry for over 17 years. Most recently he was Director at TraderTeam Systems where he was responsible for providing consultancy services to spread betting and FX businesses. Prior to this, Bill co-founded ODL securities, a derivatives and equities brokerage. He held a number of senior management roles at the company Including IT Director. He has also designed a number of realtime risk and regulatory reporting systems.

This appointment is subject to approval by the FSA.
