Liberty PLC07 August 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE7th August 2006 LIBERTY Plc: CHANGE OF ACCOUNTING REFERENCE DATE Liberty Plc ("Liberty"), the Regent Street emporium 67% owned by MaryleboneWarwick Balfour Group Plc, today announces that it has resolved to change itsAccounting Reference Date from 30th June to 31st December. Liberty will publish Second Interim Accounts for the period ended 30th June 2006in September 2006. These accounts will include detailed financial informationfor Liberty for the six months ended 30th June 2006, comparative information forthe six months ended 30th June 2005 and full year results for the 12 monthsended 30th June 2006. Shareholders will, therefore, be appraised of Liberty's financial and operatingperformance both for the full year to the previous year end of 30th June and forthe first six months of the new financial year to 31st December 2006.
