API Australia order
Ila (AIM: ILA), is pleased to announce its first order from API Australia ("API"), one of the leading Australasian pharmacy groups. This is a significant first order for over US$200,000. Ila's products will be distributed throughout API's New Zealand portfolio of stores.
Founded in 1910, API is one of the leading service providers to the Australian pharmacy industry, dealing with more than 4,000 independent pharmacies, including wholesale product delivery, retail services and marketing. API also owns and operates the Priceline chain of retail stores, a leading health and beauty brand. Their last accounts reported revenues of AUD$3.5 billion.
Simon McGivern CEO of ILA commented, "This is another new territory for Ila, meaning we now supply products on four continents, showing the global appeal of our range. API is one of the most respected names in Australasian retail and this is a very significant order for us.
This initial order is for their New Zealand outlets only; as we continue to develop our relationship with API we hope to expand this into their stores in Australia and utilise their many other retail partnerships in this region."
