Board Appointment
Kennedy Ventures plc ("Kennedy Ventures" or "the Company") the owner of a tantalite mine in Namibia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline McLeod as a non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Caroline McLeod is a Namibian national and a qualified lawyer, specialising in labour and mining. She has consulted for Sanlam Namibia Limited, where she was appointed a Trustee of the Pension Fund, and more recently has advised Telecom Namibia Limited. She has also been a board member of African Tantalum (Pty) Ltd for over five years.
Giles Clarke, Chairman of Kennedy Ventures, commented:
"I am delighted that Caroline has agreed to join Kennedy Ventures as a non-executive Director. Her expertise will be of considerable value as we move forward with the development of our tantalite project in Namibia and into our next stage of growth."
