Management Update

Kropz plc (AIM: KRPZ) an emerging African phosphate explorer and developer, provides an update on its management team.  

Mr Jan Steenkamp has resigned as Managing Director of Kropz Elandsfontein (Pty) Ltd ("Kropz Elandsfontein"), effective today. He will, however, remain on the board of Kropz Elandsfontein as a non-executive director. Mr Steenkamp will also remain in a technical advisory capacity for the on-going development of the Company's projects, namely the Elandsfontein phosphate project located in South Africa and the Hinda phosphate project located in the Republic of Congo. Mr Steenkamp's executive responsibilities will be assumed by the Company's Chief Operations Officer, Michelle Lawrence.

In addition, Kropz is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Louis Swart as the Company's Financial Manager with effect from 1 October 2020. Mr Swart previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Richland Resources Limited, and financial manager for TanzaniteOne and Simmer & Jack Mines Limited. Mr Swart holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pretoria and an Honours degree in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of South Africa. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
