Appointment of Director

The Company announces that in order to assist with the development of the Company in Kazakhstan, Aidar Assaubayev has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

The Board intends to appoint a further independent non-executive director to maintain the balance of the Board at the ealiest opportunity. Pending the appointment of a further independent non-executive director, the Company has taken steps to ensure that voting by the Board will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the highest Corporate Governance standards.

Bill Trew, Chairman of Kemin, said, "Aidar's experience of the mining industries and economies in the regions where Kemin will be operating will be of great assistance to the board. I am very pleased he has joined us."

The following information falls to be disclosed under rule 17 and paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
