K3 Business Technology Group PLC09 March 2007 K3 Business Technology Group Plc ("K3") Withdrawal of possible offer for SiRViS IT PLC ('SiRViS') Further to the announcement made by K3 on 12 December 2006 and the announcementmade by the Takeover Panel on 9 February 2007, and pursuant to Rule 2.8 of theCode, K3 today announces that it no longer intends to make an offer for SiRViS. For the purposes of Rule 2.8 of The Takeover Code ('the Code'), K3 reserves theright to announce an offer or possible offer or make or participate in an offeror possible offer for SiRViS and/or take any other action which would otherwisebe restricted under Rule 2.8 of the Code within the next six months, in theevent that: (i) it obtains the agreement or recommendation of the board of SiRViS; or (ii) there is an announcement by a third party of an offer (as defined in theCode) for SiRViS; or (iii) SiRViS announces a 'whitewash' proposal (as described in Note 1 of theNotes on Dispensations from Rule 9 of the Code) or a reverse takeover (asdescribed in Note 2 of Rule 3.2 of the Code).
