Reconfirmation of Board Changes

JSG, a leading UK textile services provider, is pleased to confirm that Peter Egan will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer ('CEO') on 1 January 2019. As announced on 5 December 2017, Peter succeeds Chris Sander who, having spent five years in the role of CEO, will step down from the Board on 31 December 2018.

Peter, who has over 25 years' experience in the industry, was appointed to the Board as Chief Operating Officer on 1 April 2018 and since then has worked closely alongside Chris to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

Commenting on Chris Sander's retirement from the JSG board, Bill Shannon, Chairman said:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Chris, who during his 34 years with the Group, has made a significant contribution to its success and, as CEO, led the Group through a sustained period of exceptional growth. Chris steps down as CEO with the Board's sincere gratitude and very best wishes."

The Group will publish its pre-close trading statement on 4 January 2019.
