21st Century awarded two contracts totaling £0.5m

· Major UK passenger transport operator selects 21st Century to carry out on-board systems reconfiguration work on part of national fleet

· Group wins its first contract for the upgrade of CCTV based urban security scheme

21st Century Technology plc (AIM; C21), one of the UK's leading specialist technology service providers to the passenger and transport industry today announces that it has been awarded two contracts worth a total of c.£0.5m.

The Company's Fleet Systems division, based in Croydon, has secured a contract with one of the UK's major passenger transport operators to carry out electrical power supply modifications work for vital 'on-board' IT sub-systems on a selection of its nationwide fleet.

The c.£0.3m project involves 21st Century's engineering and operations team working closely with the operators' planning and engineering teams to complete modification work overnight in depots across the UK in a compressed timescale. Work is due to complete in H1 2016.

The Company's Integrated Systems division, formed following the acquisition in April 2015 of Coventry based Region Services Group, has secured its first contract with a local authority for the upgrade of its urban security scheme. The £0.2m contract involves converting to the latest IP technology and the project encompasses a new control complex incorporating video management, command and control systems.
