JKX OIL & GAS plc ("JKX")
Result of Annual General Meeting - clarification
JKX yesterday announced the results of its AGM. It has subsequently been informed by its Registrars that Eclairs Group Limited ("Eclairs") did in fact vote by proxy 100 shares. Although these votes were recorded in the voting results published yesterday, the announcement did not make it clear that Eclairs had voted.
The results of yesterday's AGM remain unchanged.
As noted yesterday, the outcome of Resolution 3 will not be determined until the conclusion of the appeal to the Supreme Court by Eclairs and Glengary Overseas Limited ("Glengary") against the Court of Appeal's judgment that the restriction notices served by JKX on Eclairs and Glengary are valid. Assuming that the Court of Appeal's judgment is upheld, Resolution 3 will have been passed; if not, this Resolution will not have been passed.
Full details of the proxy votes lodged prior to or voted on the polls held at the AGM are set out below, and are available on the Company's website at www.jkx.co.uk.
