PDMR Exercise of Share Options
James Halstead plc (AIM: JHD) announces that on 23 June 2017 the Company issued 60,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of share options under the James Halstead Share Option Plan by Geoffrey Halstead, Chairman and a PDMR of the Company, at an exercise price of 105.25 pence per share.
Mr Halstead retained beneficial ownership of the new Ordinary Shares.
Following the issue of the new Ordinary Shares, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue will increase to 207,864,608.
For the purpose of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTRs"), the issued ordinary share capital of the Company following this allotment consists of 207,864,608 Ordinary shares with voting rights attached. There are no Shares held in treasury.
This total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, James Halstead under the DTRs.
