FY 2021 Dividend Guidance and Dividend Declaration
The Board of the Company is pleased to announce dividend guidance* of 4.4 pence per ordinary share for the financial year ending 30 September 2021 ("FY 2021"), of which 2.0 pence per ordinary share has already been paid to shareholders by way of the first and second interim dividends for FY 2021.
In line with the dividend guidance, the Board has today declared a third interim dividend of 1.2 pence per ordinary share in respect of FY 2021. The dividend is fully covered by current revenue, and represents an increase of 20% as compared with the equivalent third interim dividend of 1 penny in FY 2020.
The third interim dividend will be paid on 24 September 2021, to shareholders on the register as at 3 September 2021. The ex-dividend date is 2 September 2021.
It is the Board's intention to pay a fourth interim dividend for FY 2021 of 1.2 pence per ordinary share in December 2021, making total distributions of 4.4 pence for the current financial year, thus restoring distributions to the same level as FY 2020.*

"Shareholders will know that our revenue account was adversely affected by the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, obliging us to reduce our quarterly dividend from 1.2 pence to 1 penny per ordinary share in the middle of FY 2020. I am delighted to see that the businesses into which we invest around the world have to a large extent now restored, and in many cases increased, their distributions, indicating significant progress in their recovery from the issues brought on them by a Covid-affected world.
The Board of JEFIT is pleased to be able to provide guidance for our full year dividend of 4.4 pence per ordinary share, which is expected to be fully covered by current revenue. This provides shareholders with a yield comfortably in excess of 4%."
