Board Changes
Itaconix (AIM: ITX) (OTCQB: ITXXF), a leading innovator in plant-based specialty polymers used as essential ingredients in everyday consumer products, announces that Dr. Bryan Dobson will retire as an independent Non-Executive Director, to be replaced by Charlean Gmunder, with immediate effect.
Ms. Gmunder is Chief Operating Officer of Blue Apron Holdings Inc. (NYSE: APRN), a leader in fresh home meal kits sold and delivered directly to consumers in North America. She brings to the Board over 20 years of executive experience in marketing and sales, manufacturing, operations, and general management. Ms. Gmunder served as President and CEO of L.A. Dreyfus, a subsidiary of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, from 2000 to 2006, and in executive operating roles with National Starch, Chiquita Brands, Maple Leaf Foods, United Airlines, and several other firms prior to joining Blue Apron in 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and her Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University.
Dr. Dobson steps down after contributing to the progress of the Company as a Non-Executive Director since 2012, including previously 3 years as the Chair of the Board.
