Interserve, the international services, maintenance and building group, announces that Mr Tim Jones, the Group Finance Director, has tendered his resignation in order to take up the position of Group Finance Director at Mitchells & Butlers plc. Mr Jones has a 12-month notice period under his service contract and will therefore be remaining at Interserve for an appropriate period to ensure a smooth and orderly handover to his successor.
Interserve will be appointing search consultants who will seek potential candidates from both external and internal sources.
Adrian Ringrose, Chief Executive of Interserve, said, "On behalf of our shareholders and everyone who has worked with and for Interserve, I would like to thank Tim for all his work over the last seven years. He has been a first-class finance director and we wish him well in his future career."
Interserve will be publishing a trading update on 9 July and its interim results on 10 August.
