Impax Group PLC13 September 2007 Impax Group plc On 4th September 2007, Impax Group plc (the "Company") received a subscriptionnotice from Sanne Trust Company Limited, the trustee of the Impax Group EmployeeBenefit Trust 2005 (the "IGEBT") for 1,975,000 new Ordinary Shares of 1p ("Ordinary Shares") as part of the Company's employee incentive arrangements asapproved at the Company's EGM on 4 February 2005. The potential beneficiariesof the IGEBT include the executive directors and employees of the Company andtheir families. Accordingly the Company has allotted 1,975,000 Ordinary Shares, subject toadmission of the shares to trading on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission of the1,975,000 Ordinary Shares to AIM. It is expected that admission will becomeeffective and trading will commence on 18 September 2007. Following allotmentthe Company will have 109,499,098 Ordinary Shares in issue. IGEBT will be interested in 15.4% of the enlarged share capital of the Company.
