24 May 2007 AMTEUS PLC ("Amteus" or "the Company") Directorate Change
The Board of Amteus announces that, following the implementation of its new business model, it has decided to suspend business development and marketing initiatives in the United States of America.
Therefore it is, with regret, that the Board announces that Dr Aynur Unal has resigned from the Board and the Company with immediate effect. The Board would like to thank Dr Unal for all her endeavours in the early stages of the Company's development.
The Board also announces that David Hoyle, Finance Director, has resigned as a director and employee of the Company for personal reasons. The Board intends to appoint a new Finance Director as soon as practicable. In the intervening period, Christopher Williamson ACA, who has been Financial Controller at the Company since August 2006 will fulfil the functions of Finance Director. Pending the appointment of a new Finance Director, David Hoyle will provide assistance, on a consultancy basis, as required.
Michael Abrahams, Chairman, said "David Hoyle has made a significant contribution to the Company before, during and after its flotation and admission to AIM. We wish him well for the future".
