Queen's Award for Enterprise for SLE Ltd
Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical technology company, is pleased to announce that SLE Ltd, its wholly owned subsidiary has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise within the Innovation category.
This is the second time that Queen's Award has been given to SLE which was recognised in 2009 when it won the Award in the International Trade category. In 2019, Inspiration Healthcare Ltd (also a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group) won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in recognition of the company's outstanding level of International trade.
SLE was given this award in recognition of its work in developing an infant ventilator with a closed-loop Auto-O2 software algorithm called OxyGenie® which is able to control the amount of oxygen in a baby's blood within a narrowly doctor prescribed range and was originally developed by the University of Tasmania in conjunction with the Royal Hobart Hospital.
