Agreements signed with 

Atom Medical and EPMC Pharma

Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical device company, is pleased to announce that it has signed a one year rolling contract with Atom Medical, the largest manufacturer of incubators in Japan, and a five year contract with EPMC Pharma for the sale of its sucrose products in the UK and Ireland.

The agreement with Atom follows on from the acquisition of Inditherm plc last year with whom Atom had a prior agreement and means the enlarged Group will retain the exclusive rights to sell the wide range of Atom products used in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the UK.

Atom manufactures a range of specialist incubators used in Neonatal Intensive Care, some of which can be combined with other products sold by Inspiration Healthcare. These include the Acutronic range of ventilators and other neonatal products such as the warming product CosyTherm.

At the same time the Company is pleased to report that it has signed a five year agreement with EPMC Pharma of Belgium, which produces Algopedol, (24% sucrose), an aqueous sterile oral solution used to reduce neonatal pain. Sucrose is currently predominantly used in a hospital environment and it is expected that it will progressively be adopted in the wider medical community. Since 2003, Inspiration has been the UK market leader in the distribution of single dose sucrose products in the UK.
