Director Change
('IG' or the 'Company')
It is with considerable sadness that International Greetings PLC announces the death of Richard Eckman, the CEO of International Greetings USA, who passed away on 1st June following a courageous fight against cancer. Mr Eckman joined the Company's board of directors on 18th October 2012 and led the successful development of IG's US business.
Paul Fineman, Chief Executive commented:
"Rich made a tremendously positive contribution to the Group and in particular to our business in the United States. It was our privilege to work along side Rich for many years and it is to his immense credit that his influence will be long lasting. We pass our thoughts and best wishes onto his family and friends"
