Board Change

IFG Group plc is pleased to announce the co-option of Robin Phipps to the Board of the company as a Non-Executive Director as of 23 March 2012.

Robin joined Friends Provident plc in November 2008 as a Non Executive Director; Friends Provident becoming Friends Life Group in 2011. He is a member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and Chairman of the With Profits Committee. He is also a Non Executive Director of Partnership Life Assurance Company Limited.

Robin has significant experience in financial services having been a Group Director of Legal & General Group plc, a Non Executive Director of GE Money Credit Cards and a Senior Advisor (Financial Services) of Ernst & Young.

Joe Moran, Chairman, said that he welcomed Robin to the IFG Group plc Board and was looking forward to working with him, adding:
