Issue of new shares under the Share Incentive Plan, Director & PDMR Dealings and Total Voting Rights
Ideagen PLC (AIM: IDEA), a leading supplier of Information Management Software to highly regulated industries, announces that it has allotted a total of 3,195 new ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") following the purchase of 3,195 Ordinary Shares by a number of employees under the Company's Share Incentive Plan ("SIP").
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 3,195 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission") and it is expected that Admission will become effective and trading will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 24 December 2020.
After Admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 252,118,940 and the total number of voting rights will therefore be 252,118,940. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
In addition to the above, two of the executive directors of the Company, David Hornsby and Ben Dorks, have both purchased 7 Ordinary Shares within the SIP as part of the automatic re-investment of dividends received on their shares held in the SIP. In addition, the following PDMRs have also purchased the number of shares indicated as part of the automatic re-investment of dividends received on their shares held in the SIP: Barnaby Kent, Chief Operating Officer (7 Ordinary Shares); Ian Hepworth, Chief Technology Officer (2 Ordinary Shares); Alex Hewitt, Chief Legal Officer (6 Ordinary Shares) and Graeme Spenceley, Company Secretary (7 Ordinary Shares).
Following this purchase, David Hornsby (Executive Chairman) holds 10,226,079 Ordinary Shares (representing 4.06% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital) and Ben Dorks (Chief Executive Officer) holds 2,653,213 Ordinary Shares (representing 1.05% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital).
