Issue of share options
The Board of Cupid plc (AIM: CUP), a leading UK online dating company, announces that on 3 June 2011 the Remuneration Committee approved the issue of share options to a numbers of employees and a Director.
The share options are issued as follows:
Quantity of options over
fully paid ordinary shares
Director: Mark Doughty 400,000
Senior Managers: 1,400,000
Total 1,800,000
All of the above share options have been granted at an exercise price of 176 p per share, which represents the 5 day average closing price of the previous 5 business days.
The options will be subject to vesting criteria such that they are exercisable in one-third equal tranches over three years, with the first one-third tranche commencing 3 June 2012, the second one-third tranche commencing 3 June 2013, and the third one-third tranche commencing 3 June 2014. The options shall have a lifetime of 10 years and are also subject to continuous employment criteria.
