Application for Admission

Ibstock plc hereby announces that an application has been made to the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for the admission to the Official List of the UKLA and trading on the main market of the LSE of:

(a) the listing of 650 ordinary shares of £0.01 (the "Shares") issued under the Company's Share Incentive Plan; and

(b) the block listing in aggregate of up to 1,500,000 Shares following any exercise by the employees of the awards granted pursuant to the applicant's Sharesave Plan, Long Term Incentive Plan and Share Option Plan.

Admission is expected to become effective on 9 September 2016. When issued, these shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The Shares noted in paragraph (b) above are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued, as and when required, in connection with the grant, vesting and/or exercise of awards under the terms of the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan, Share Option Plan and Sharesave Plan (as applicable).
