Notification of announcements made by Harworth Estates Property Group Ltd.

Coalfield Resources plc notes the announcements made on 27 November 2014 and 2 December 2014 by Harworth Estates Property Group Ltd. ("Harworth Estates", "Harworth" or "HEL"), the property and regeneration company in which CfR holds a 24.9% stake. On 18 November 2014, CfR announced it had reached heads of terms agreement to acquire the 75.1% of HEL that it does not already own. Harworth Estates has announced that:

1. Harworth has secured MBDA as second occupier at north-west scheme: Harworth Estates has secured the second occupier and begun construction work at its 4 million sq ft Logistics North industrial development in Bolton. MBDA, a major defence supplier, has acquired an eight-acre site for the development of a new 100,000 sq ft facility. MBDA will move to this new facility, which will combine high-quality manufacturing space with offices, from its current base at Lostock, Bolton.

2. Harworth has acquired a major development site in Leeds: Harworth Estates has acquired the site of the former Skelton Grange power station near Leeds from RWE Generation. The 162-acre site, which provided power to the city until 1995, offers the potential for development for distribution, open storage and energy generation uses. 

The acquisition of the site is Harworth's first major non-coalfield acquisition and adds to its large portfolio of UK regeneration sites.
