TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
The Company announces that on 23 September 2025 it purchased through Barclays Bank PLC ("Barclays"), the following number of its ordinary shares of 10p each ("Shares") for cancellation at an average price of 866.18 pence per Share:

Highest purchase price paid per Share: | 872.00p |
Lowest purchase price paid per Share: | 851.00p |
Following the purchase of the Shares, the Company holds 2,470,691 Shares in treasury and 541,981,578 Shares in issue (excluding those held as treasury shares). This figure (541,981,578) represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
