Result of General Meeting
and
Update on Acquisition
Hunting PLC (LSE:HTG) is pleased to announce that the resolution in respect of the acquisition of the Titan Group was duly passed at the General Meeting of Hunting held today, notice of which was contained in Hunting's circular to Shareholders dated 25 August 2011 ("the Circular").
A copy of the resolution has been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection via the Financial Services Authority's National Storage Mechanism located at http://www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
Details of the proxy voting instructions, lodged at 10.00a.m. on 13 September 2011, being 48 hours prior to the meeting, are set out below:

A "Vote Withheld" is not a vote in law and is not counted in the calculation of proportion of votes "For" or "Against" a resolution.
The total number of shares in issue as at 13 September 2011 were 146,265,111. The total number of proxy votes cast, including 'Votes Withheld', were 119,784,252. Proxies cast were 81.9% of the total number of shares in issue.
Completion of the acquisition of the Titan Group is expected to take place tomorrow 16 September 2011, when a further announcement will be made.
Terms defined in the Circular have the same meaning herein, unless the context requires otherwise.
