RESULTS OF PLACING OF 23,508,133 MILLION ORDINARY SHARES IN HOSTELWORLD GROUP PLC (THE "COMPANY" OR "HOSTELWORLD") BY H&F WINGS LUX 1 S.À.R.L. ("H&F") AND Kingsley, Louise, Bryan and Christina Duffy (THE "DUFFY FAMILY")

Further to yesterday's announcement, H&F and the Duffy Family (together, the "Sellers") announce that, subject to completion, they have sold in aggregate 23,508,133 million ordinary shares in Hostelworld at a price of 260 pence per share (the "Placing"), raising aggregate gross proceeds of approximately £61million.

Following completion of the Placing, the Sellers will no longer hold ordinary shares in the Company.

The trade date for the Placing will be 13 April 2016 and settlement is expected to occur on a T+5 basis on 20 April 2016, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of certain customary conditions.

Numis is acting as sole Global Coordinator and sole Bookrunner in connection with the Placing ("Global Co-ordinator").
