Novar PLC31 March 2005 Novar PLC31 March 2005 NOVAR PLC INTERIM DIVIDEND Earlier today, Honeywell Acquisitions Limited (the "Offeror") announced that therecommended cash offers for the entire issued and to be issued ordinary sharecapital (the "Ordinary Offer") and for the entire issued and to be issuedpreference share capital of Novar plc ("Novar") made on 10 January 2005 byJPMorgan plc on behalf of the Offeror had been declared unconditional in allrespects. In accordance with the terms of the Ordinary Offer, Novar ordinary shareholdersare entitled to receive a second interim dividend of 6.60p per Novar ordinaryshare. Now that the Ordinary Offer has been declared unconditional in allrespects, it is anticipated that the second interim dividend will be paid on 4May 2005. The record date for the second interim dividend will be 13 April 2005and the ex dividend date will be 11 April 2005.
