In accordance with Rule 9.6.14R (2) of the UK Listing Rules, Halma plc ('the Company') announces that Tony Rice, Senior Independent Director of the Company, has today notified the Company that with effect from 8 April 2016 he was appointed a non-executive Director of Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC ('Dechra') and will be appointed as Chairman with effect from the conclusion of Dechra's Annual General Meeting ('AGM') on 21 October 2016, subject to his election as a Director at the AGM.
