HELICAL BAR PLC ("Helical Bar "or "the Company")
NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PARTIES
The Company was informed today that the following transactions had taken place:
1. Exercise of Share Options
On 9 June 2009 purchase options over 1,057,095 ordinary 1p shares held by the Company's ESOP Trust were exercised in accordance with the Helical Bar 1999 Share Option Scheme.
Included in these transactions are options originally granted in 2000 and 2001 and exercised by the following directors:
Michael Slade
A purchase option over 269,000 shares exercised at 1p per share, originally granted over 500,000 shares at 150.0p per share.
Gerald Kaye
A purchase option over 183,000 shares exercised at 1p per share, originally granted over 347,095 shares at 153.3p per share.
Matthew Bonning-Snook
A purchase option over 113,000 shares exercised at 1p per share, originally granted over 210,000 shares at 150.0p per share.
2. Sale of shares
On 9 June 2009 the following Directors sold shares in the Company:
Michael Slade
269,000 shares sold at 325.0p per share.
Gerald Kaye
183,000 shares sold at 325.0p per share.
Matthew Bonning-Snook
113,000 shares sold at 325.0p per share.
3. Directors' Interests in Shares
