Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") or Connected Persons in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).
The Company announces the following PDMRs/ directors of the Company have today advised that they have accepted an option to purchase ordinary shares of 0.4p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") which were granted on 29th September 2010 under the Company's Executive Share Option Plan with an exercise price of 447.60 pence per share:

These awards have been reviewed and approved by the Remuneration Committee. Mr Hunter and Mr Marson are key Directors responsible for Investment Marketing and Vantage operations respectively. The awards recognise their sphere of influence in the company, encourage retention and motivation of key talent, and align Directors' long term aims with increasing shareholder value over the long term. As the options are granted at the market value of HL PLC shares, shareholder value must be enhanced for Mr Hunter or Mr Marson to benefit.
