LONDON, 13 October 2008 - Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC ("Hikma") (LSE: HIK) (DIFX: HIK), the multinational pharmaceuticals group, announces that on 13 October 2008 the following Director exercised his option to purchase the number of ordinary shares of 10 pence each set out in the table below in the capital of the Company. These options were granted on the date shown below pursuant to the Company's 2004 Stock Option Plan:
