Notification of Non-Executive Director Changes
Halfords Group plc (the "Company") announces the following appointment and changes to the constitution of its Board and Committees.
Appointment
Helen Jones joins the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2014. Helen will also be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. Helen is currently a senior executive at CaffΓ© Nero and, prior to that, was CEO of the Zizzi Restaurants group and was also responsible for successfully launching the Ben & Jerry brand in the UK and Europe. .
Changes
As indicated in last year's Annual Report, both Bill Ronald and Keith Harris, who have been non-executive directors of the Company since 2004, will be stepping down from the board with effect from 31 May 2014.
David Adams will assume the role of Senior Independent Director from Bill with effect from 1 March 2014. David has been a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees and the Chair of the Audit Committee since joining the Board on 1 March 2011.
Claudia Arney will succeed Keith as Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 March 2014. Claudia has been a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees since joining the Board on 25 January 2011.
This notification is given in accordance with LR 9.6.11, LR 9.6.13 and LR 9.6.14.

We welcome Helen to Halfords who will bring valuable and relevant marketing and branding experience in consumer focused businesses."
