Trading update
Ahead of the results release for the year ended 31 December 2014 on ThursdayΒ 5 March 2015, Headlam Group plc, Europe's leading floorcoverings distributor, provides a brief trading update as follows.

Total group revenue for the twelve month period to 31 December 2014 increased by 5.3% compared with the previous year.

In the UK, favourable trading during November and December, up 3.7% and 6.8% respectively against strong prior year comparables, contributed to the twelve month like for like revenue increase of 5.9%. The combined annual revenues from the group's Continental European businesses in local currency on a like for like basis, reduced by 2.3% and 7.3% when translated into sterling.

Based on the pleasing revenue performance, earnings for the twelve months toΒ 31 December 2014 are likely to slightly exceed the group's internal performance target.
