Headlam Group PLC02 April 2007 To : Company Announcements Office Primary Markets Division The London Stock Exchange Company announcements Tel 0207 797 4400 For immediate release 2nd April 2007 Headlam Group plc Headlam Group plc, Europe's leading floorcovering distributor, announces that on 30 March 2007 it acquired 3D Flooring Supplies Limited, a distributor ofcommercial flooring. 3D will continue to operate from its locations in Swansea, Cardiff and Tauntonsupplying flooring contractors throughout South Wales and the South West ofEngland. Turnover for the year to 31 October 2006 was £8,645,246 and profit before tax£146,686. Total consideration, payable on completion from internal resources, is£1,377,500 million assuming net assets of £874,712 to be verified by theproduction of completion of accounts. The acquisition of 3D enlarges our regional commercial activities and willfurther strengthen the Group's position in the UK commercial flooring market.
