Holders Technology (AIM:HDT) announces a trading update for the financial year ending on 30 November 2010.
The Group expects that, due to a stronger than anticipated recovery in the European PCB market and the progress made in introducing a new range of laminates, profits for the year to 30th November 2010 will be in excess ofcurrent market expectations.
Expansion of LED activities
Holders Technology has been appointed as the European-wide distributor for two leading Taiwanese LED and lamp manufacturers. A new group division, Holders Components, will act as their European distributor, supplying an established network of sub-distributors covering the major European countries. JK Components Limited, which was acquired in December 2009, has been renamed Holders Components Limited.
Financing
To finance the anticipated growth in the Group's financial year starting 1st December 2010 in both the laminateand LED areas of the business, arrangements have been agreed with HSBC Bank plc for borrowing facilities amounting to £1.55m in total.
