Result of GM
and
Total Voting Rights and Share Capital
Nighthawk, the US focused oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY), announces that at its General Meeting held earlier today to approve the buy-back of Running Foxes Petroleum Inc.'s 102,236,422 shares in Nighthawk (the "RFP Shares"), the resolution to approve such buy-back was duly passed.
The Company has subsequently purchased the RFP Shares and the shares will be cancelled at the close of Nighthawk's share register today.
Following completion of the buy-back and cancellation, Nighthawk has 748,935,420 Ordinary Shares in issue which is also the total number of voting rights in the Company. This figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
