Henderson Value Trust plc (`the Company') announces that Mr Jamie Korner wasappointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 13 May 2013.
Jamie has enjoyed a successful career in the investment industry. A Cambridgegraduate, he joined Inchcape in 1978 following a period in farming. Afterworking at stockbroker Fielding Newson Smith and as a manager of institutionalfunds at M&G, he moved to Newton in 1995. Whilst managing a number of globalfunds, he built a team which grew the Newton charity business from some £300million to over £4.5 billion, becoming thereby the largest manager ofcharitable funds in the UK. He retired as Director of Charities in 2011 and isjoining Stanhope Capital shortly as a partner of its charities business.
There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R inrespect of Mr Korner.
